Plumbing emergency? We're available 24/7 - Call (858) 221-4540

If water is actively pouring into your home: shut off the main water valve now (usually a lever near the street or against the front of the house), then call us. If you smell gas, leave the building and call SDG&E at 1-800-411-7343 first.

When plumbing goes wrong at the worst time

Pipes don't burst at 2pm on a Tuesday. They burst on Christmas Eve, during a family dinner, the morning of your daughter's wedding, and every time relatives are staying over. That's when a lot of "24/7" plumbers become "leave a voicemail and we'll get back to you Monday" plumbers.

We're not one of those. When you call (858) 221-4540, a person picks up. If you need a truck, one is dispatched. If we can walk you through shutting something off first to prevent damage, we will do that on the phone.

What we handle as emergencies

  • Burst pipes and pinhole leaks - inside walls, under slabs, in attics and crawl spaces
  • Sewer backups - main line clogs, backups into showers or floor drains
  • Overflowing toilets - when a plunger won't fix it or water keeps coming
  • No hot water - failed water heater, pilot won't light, tank leaking
  • Gas leaks at fixtures - bad valve, cracked line to a heater or range (after SDG&E clears the meter)
  • Sump pump failure - during winter rain events
  • Frozen or split lines - rare here, but real on cold nights inland
  • Slab leaks - hot floor patches, sound of running water with no fixtures on (see leak detection)

What happens when you call

  1. You get a person, not a menu. We ask what's happening and whether you need help shutting off the water safely.
  2. We give you a real ETA. Whatever the honest arrival window is, that's what we tell you - including when we're backed up, so you can decide.
  3. Technician diagnoses on site. You see the problem, we explain your options and the price for each, and you approve the fix before we start.
  4. The work is done to code and warrantied. Written warranty, itemized invoice, no "we found three more things while we were in there" surprises.

Emergency pricing, straight up

After-hours calls cost more than daytime calls - that's the honest truth about every plumber in San Diego. What we don't do is inflate the base repair cost to punish you for calling at night. You'll hear the number before we do the work, and if the diagnosis changes it, you approve the new number first.

Not sure if it's really an emergency? Call anyway. If it can safely wait until morning, we will tell you so and book you in.
